Raised in a family of professional
musicians David Shaw went on to receive an Honours Degree in music
in London England. Performing extensively with his quartet on
the London jazz scene in clubs such as Ronnie Scott’s and
the 100 club, he was awarded Young Jazz Musician of the Year by
the Greater London Arts Council in conjunction with Capitol Radio.
Coming to North America in the mid 1990’s David continued
in music, producing and writing. Achieving both Gold and Platinum
in this field he wrote the no.1 hit “Love Makes
No Promises”. The trio marks a return to his
first love, jazz performances.
